My new series “Jumping For Joy” is inspired by my five ex-battery hens.

Our five ex-battery hens used to be squashed in small cages with nowhere to move. They had never seen the sun or grass and had never had a dust bath. They lived in these prisons for 18 months of their lives.
Today, as free birds, they love life and get as much out of it as they can. They love to jump. They love to jump even more if there’s lettuce involved.
