Seven and Eleven were rescued at the same time from the same battery egg farm in Victoria. Trapped in tiny cages with five hens to a cage, their suffering was intense.
Rescued early 2012, these two beautiful White Leghorns came to live at Lefty’s Place. These two have been inseparable from day one. They look incredibly alike, except Seven has larger light brown markings on her face.
Both hens are amazing at flying and are often the stars of my “Jumping For Joy” series
These two best friends were so very lucky to be rescued. Very few are this lucky. Please think again when considering purchasing eggs or food made from eggs
